A permanent structure designed to look like a temporary one, fully demountable, no welded or bolted site joints, just pins and tendons. Everything provisional as if made from the spare parts of the steel grain clippers that used to dock there.
The one-liner is a footbridge over water dedicated to a sailing school and sited in an insecure area where staffed transportation would be welcome nights. The environment quickly changed leaving the structure with that superannuated feel particular to the docklands
As part of a major upgrade to this national facility we have designed structure for alterations to the main exhibition hanger, for a new building within a building and for the refurbishment of war-time ancillary accommodation as restaurant facilities
