Russell Jones Architects
An apartment block occupies a very confined site in central London. Walls and floors are fair-faced masonry; white bricks set in lime mortar joints, with windows and built-in furniture made as bespoke joinery. All structure, services and lighting are concealed within the construction.
The scheme was designed and drawn as a three-dimensional whole. Every brick has a designated place in space and dimensions are fully co-ordinated to avoid any cutting whatsoever.
